About Rachel
Hello!
I’ve been writing since I was a teen, with some of my earliest missives written in red ink in a Backstreet Boys notebook. Becoming an author has been a life-long dream, but shortly after earning my Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh, I realized dreams don’t always pay the bills. I have worked as an instructional systems designer since 2017 and earned my Master of Education in 2020.
In January of 2026, one of my goals for the year was to “write more” and in May, I finished my first full-length book club/upmarket manuscript, Too Many Ghosts Here. My goal is to traditionally publish, but ultimately, I want to get my stories in readers’ hands. I have two additional works in progress, Lights Go Out and Such a Familiar Face.
